CONDITIONS OF SALE:-
Prior to laying, it is preferable that flooring is stored in the same area that it is to be laid, for at least 2 – 3 weeks, in order to acclimatise to it’s final conditions. No liability will be accepted for any movement, (expansion or contraction), once goods have left our premises, as this movement will be a direct result of local environmental conditions within the area it is laid or stored. Our flooring is dried to an 8% moisture content, and is held in store at approx 10% - 11%. Please state any specific delivery instructions that may be relevant for a smooth delivery. All goods remain the property of Eaton Timber Co Ltd until paid for in full. The return of goods by the customer, for reasons outside our control, will be subject to a charge for the cost of delivery and return, plus a handling fee of £50 + VAT. Upon receipt of goods, please check for any defects or deficiency, as no liability for free replacements, or return of flooring, will be accepted, unless the goods can be returned undamaged, and in the same state in which they were received. No liability for free replacement or return of flooring will be accepted once flooring has been fitted. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid accordingly to agreed credit terms. Any complaints must be made in writing within 7 days of collection of goods.
